Hello! My name is Fiona. I am a graphic designer, and I am still working as one at this point of time. I was never in culinary. However, baking and cooking have always been my passion. I love cooking for my family, friends and my church.
I have always wished to own a cafe/restaurant where I can serve and cook for people, but that is too much commitments and risks. So, I decided to create a channel here where I can still share my passion of baking and cooking. The recipes I had shared and will be sharing are my favorites.
I can be really honest I am no professional. Before I share the recipes, I will usually do my research/study from a few sources, just to be sure what I am doing is right. These recipes are not difficult and they are easy to follow. If someone like me who has never been in a culinary school can do it, I have no doubt anyone can do it too :)

Vanilla Magic Cake - When I first saw this cake 2 years ago, I wanted to try to make it but I was hesitated. I thought the layers are difficult to be formed. It turned out not bad at all. I could see 3 layers formed in this magic recipe. This recipe is suitable for a 7x7 inch pan because you need a substantial height to get an obvious 3 layers formed. Whenever I make cakes with 2 cups of cake flour it is undercooked and dense. What do I do? I do it the same way. 180°c and 35 min. 1 cup of flour gives me no problems.
@@shreyahr7884 if you're making 2cups flour, I suggest you use a wider or bigger pan. Wider pan is easier to cook. If your using small pan such as 6 inch, some oven will cook the outside very fast but not the inside. Therefore you need to increase your baking time. Insert a cake skewer in the middle of the cake, if the skewer comes out clean, the cake is cooked. Hope i answered you ☺️

Yes you can. After 30 min, insert skewer to ensure the cake is cooked. You may need additional 3-5 min

Top and bottom heat together. For toaster oven, you need to watch from time to time. If you find the top gets brown, you need to turn down the heat a little. but don't open the oven door until the end. Hope this helps

corn flour n corn starch same
That's a good question. In US they call it cornstarch, in UK they call it corn flour. However, sometimes you'll find corn flour in yellow and it has different nutritional specs. Ideally I'm looking for cornstarch which is white and very fine. Since the recipe called for small amount, any one is fine ☺️

Hi dear. Firstly, don't reduce the sugar. Secondly, you can add 2 additional tbsp of flour to the dough to ensure it won't melt. Hope it helps ☺️
